Biography

Isaac Chii Nwaogwugwu is a Public Sector Economist. He holds a First Class Bachelors degree in Commerce (with Economics and Accounting) from Rani Dugavati University in 1986 and an M.A. degree in Economics from The M.S University of Baroda in 1988 (also with First Class). He completed his PhD in Economics from the same University 1996. Dr. Nwaogwugwu specialises in Economic theory, Public Finance, Economics of Public Enterprises and Public Utilities, Financial Economics, Project Analysis & Management and Applied Statistics. He joined the faculty of the Department of Economics of the University of Lagos in 2000 where he is currently a Senior Lecturer. He has consulted widely for many Organizations including United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, The World Bank, The Central Bank of Nigeria, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria; National Institute for Sports;Nigerian Communications Commission, Lagos State Government. He is also the former Chief Consultant of The Corporate Advisors Limited (a Private Sector Outfit that specializes in Economic, Business, Management and Financial Consultancy services). Dr. Nwaogwugwu has participated in many National and International Workshops and Conferences and has also published widely in national and international Journals.
